I have been teaching since 1987 in Northwest Houston off Clay Road between Gessner and Beltway 8. I utilize a variety of techniques that motivate students to have success in piano lessons. My approach is always positive and the curriculum is well-rounded. Included are note-reading, technic, repertoire and theory. I am a member of Houston Music Teachers Association, Independent Music Teachers Association and National Federation of Music Teachers Gold Cup). These organizations give my students lots of opportunities to participate in music events. I am a permanently Nationally Certified Teacher of Music through Music Teachers National Association. I hold degrees from The University of Houston as a Bachelor of
Arts in Music and a Bachelor of Science degree from the
University of Alabama.
